Art is basically a form of investigation.  There are no answers.  There are only questions. 

We are constantly having conversations with ourselves, trying to resolve  these basically unanswerable questions. 

How can we know our universe? 

How can we know ourselves?

Is there meaning to our existence or are we human beings both meaningless and living in a meaningless world?

How do we make sense of it all?

I believe that art is about challenging ideas and exploring our existence. My art is successful if it makes you think and helps to confront preconceptions.
